The tours are filled with interesting historical information, great suggestions of how to find special wildlife or vistas and plenty of help along the way. These adventures are a wonderful way for you and your family to spend some time getting to know Kiawah. 6 Marsh Island Park The Naturally Kiawah Demonstration Garden Located in Night heron Park, the Naturally Kiawah Demonstration Garden is a place to learn and relax. Visit to see native plants at their best, get ideas for your own garden, rest on a bench and read a book, enjoy our Music in the Garden series (to be held the first three Wednesdays in October) and our monthly Garden Strolls. One of the latest additions to our growing list of preserved properties, Marsh Island Park is pursuant to a conservation easement granted to the Conservancy by the Kiawah Partners. It is a coastal hammock island that provides a substantial area of natural habitat for a variety of wildlife. It is used frequently by migrating birds including our beloved painted buntings and as daytime resting area and nighttime hunting space for bobcats. 73
