the Campaign for Bryn Coed Farms,
chaired by George and Christy Martin
and Eliza and Peter Zimmerman.
In June, Natural Lands purchased
the 1,505-acre Bryn Coed Farms. In
doing so, one of the largest remain-
ing unprotected swaths of land in
the greater Philadelphia region was
preserved. It was the chance of a
lifetime and one we simply couldn’t
pass up!
About one third of the property
will become the Bryn Coed Preserve
with the remainder sold to private
buyers with conservation easements
in place, creating a unique conserva-
tion community anchored by in the
preserve in the center. The preserve
will include nearly 10 miles of trails
open to the public—every day, free
of charge.
To secure the 500-acre nature
preserve we seek and open it to the
public, Natural Lands needs to meet
its $5 million Campaign for Bryn
