Projeler/Projects: Novelda street and as a sunscreen. To keep both sides of exposed stone, there is a steel plate surrounding each piece. The binding of metal parts with the stone was made with metal pins, arranged with an elastic material. The flooring was treated with a matt polyurethane paint to close the pores and improve wear resistance. The special arrangement on the front façade with the gaps in between allows for games of light and shade. This side of the design protects the interiors from the strong sunlight as well as creating exterior spots for smokers. The building exists on a slightly small lot yet surprisingly the design offers a very rich interior such as the entrance floor with a deep ceiling and an open air courtyard. The Bateig stone implemented onto the lower façade makes a soft turn and floods through the entrance to dominate it. Gray, white and black colors are prevalent in the interiors. Overall the combination of stone, steel and glass create a sense of quality and character in a modern setting for the growing city.
