virtually zero, maintaining its appearance with no surface coating
or regular painting required. It is also a material of great distinction
that contributes to a positive image of the school as a center for
education.
The design principle in constructing with these large limestone
blocks is very simple. Extracted directly from the quarry in the
intended block size, the stone is delivered to the construction site
where only a crane and simple tools are needed for construction. It is
a clean and fast ecologically minded system using a material widely
available in the region.
