Céline is a fashion label from Paris, France, that is part of the
LVMH group that features spare and modern fashion design
since it was founded by Céline Vipiana in 1945. Michael Kors
was the creative director of the brand until 2010, and since then,
Phoebe Philo is the lead designer. Céline among the brands
that Beymen imports to Turkey is positioned as a corner store
in Beymen Zorlu Center with additional access directly from the
shopping center.
The Céline boutique is separate from the main Beymen retail
floor with a large green onyx panel that gives clues about the
decorative concept of the brand. The minimal interior design
creates a strong yet unique spatial impact thanks to the variety of
materials that are used highlighted by the use of stone patterns.
Marble, travertine, and onyx panels with distinctive geometric
patterns give the interior a strong graphic expression. Particularly
the products displayed on the square stands made of wood,
marble, and metal are positioned as if they are art works. The
color, pattern, and veins of the marble and onyx emphasize the
original and distinctive status of the products being displayed.
Massive natural stone is used profusely as shelves, display units,
drawers, and even on the door of the changing room. The
interior design of the boutique reflects lead fashion designer
Phoebe Philo’s spare style and was designed under her direction.
