We’re halfway through the calendar year. Thus far, the commercial market in our region has been pretty well holding its own. Lease rates have continued to improve and commercial sales have at worst been stable and many area have shown continued improvement.

There are several great article in this issue. If you are an income buyer, you’ll probably like the article on alternative investments. The articles on due diligence should help you not make a mistake on your next transaction as will the article on lease renewals. Finally, we’ve all seen the changes in our retail market. The post recession article on retail is a great look forward relative to the future of how we shop.
