Amanda Arizola, MBA, MHSM

Amanda Jane Arizola currently serves as the Assistant Director for the Dallas Community Tax Centers (DCTC), a program of Foundation Communities. DCTC returns millions of dollars to the local economy by helping individuals/families realize financial stability through free tax preparation and savings opportunities. DCTC has completed over 96,000 tax returns and over $124 million dollars to Dallas residents. Ms. Arizola has previously held positions as the Program Manager for Financial Stability at Catholic Charities of Fort Worth and was the State Program Director for the CHIMES (Consumer Health Insurance Marketplace and Enrollment Services) Consortium at United Way of Tarrant County in Fort Worth.

A graduate of University of Texas at Austin, Amanda earned a double B.A. in Government and Mexican American Studies. While at UT-Austin, she served as a Legislative Aide to Senator Rodney Ellis, D-Houston, and was an active member of Kappa Delta Chi Sorority Incorporated, a Latina Service Sorority. In addition, she earned a double Masters in Business Administration and Health Systems Management from Texas Woman’s University in 2010.

Amanda truly enjoys serving her local community where she currently serves as the Vice Chair of Development for the Mayor’s Star Council, a professional leadership development organization, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund-Dallas Advisory Board and the Community Advisory Board for KERA/KXT, a PBS affiliate in Dallas/Fort Worth. Previously Amanda has served as the secretary for the Southeast Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Vice Chair of Marketing for the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas, a state organization promoting the advancement of women in public, corporate, and civic life. She additionally served on the board as President for MANA de North Texas, whose mission is to empower middle and high school grade Latinas through leadership development, educational opportunities, financial empowerment, community service and advocacy.

Janeshka Almaguer

Janeshka graduated with an undergraduate degree from The University of the Incarnate Word in Psychology and Communication. Janeshka then attended Sul Ros State University where she received a Master’s in Education. During this time Janeshka has worked with individuals and families to promote safe spaces and educates on healthy relationships.

Drawing on her experience from her humanitarian work in Central Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia, she has a deep passion for diversity and inclusion. She’s currently the Director of Education at the Alamo Area Rape Crisis Center.

dr. Melanie Rodriguez

Melanie Rodriguez, a sister of Theta Chapter, is the outgoing National President. She has served as part of the national leadership team for more than 10 years. In her professional role Melanie is an Organizational Development Consultant and Executive Coach for a top rated integrated energy company. Melanie lives in Houston with her wife Cindy, also a sister of Theta Chapter, and their two children.
