Amid toxic rhetoric about immigrants and refugees, our panel examines
the rights of those both seeking new opportunities and fleeing conflict
and focuses on what leaders can do to support all migrant communities
and combat xenophobia and Islamophobia. We also assess immigration
reform’s broader legal landscape and discuss the impact of national
and local policies.

Ashley Houghton, managing director of the Security and Rights Collaborative, has worked
with ReThink Media since 2011. She leads in developing, implementing, and supporting
