Daniel Riemer
State Representative
Milwaukee, Wisconsin
State Representative Daniel Riemer was elected to the Wisconsin State
Assembly in November, 2012. He represents the hard-working citizens of
the Seventh Assembly District. Representative Riemer serves on the Health,
Transportation, Ways and Means, and International Trade committees. He
graduated with honors from the University of Chicago while working as a
soccer coach, cafe clerk, and house painter, and is currently enrolled in law
school at the University of Wisconsin. @RepDanielRiemer
Hector Rodriguez
County Legislator
New Paltz, New York
Hector Rodriguez was elected to the Ulster County legislature representing
District 20 by an overwhelming margin in 2003, and is currently serving
his sixth term. Rodriguez has spent most of his adult working career in
public service, public advocacy, and policy making. He has worked at every
level of government covering a wide breadth of issues from environmental
protection to economic development in traditional downtowns. While in
college at Syracuse University, Rodriguez served as an intern in the White House Office of Legislative
Affairs during the Clinton Administration. L ater he served as the personal assistant to state Senator
Robert G. Torricelli. As an economic development specialist for the City of Newburgh, he helped the
city secure $2 million, with the assistance of Congressman Maurice Hinchey, to fund infrastructure
for the West Street Medical Technology Park, providing nearly 100 high technology jobs in the
medical industry to the City of Newburgh.
Elizabeth Romero

Elizabeth Romero is a native of Coachella Valley. She began working as
Youth Promotora with Planned Parenthood while attending Coachella
Valley High School. After attending College of the Desert, Elizabeth
transferred to UC Riverside, earning a B.A. in political science and public
service, and then earned a master’s of politics, economics, and business
from Claremont Graduate University. Romero serves on the Riverside
County Board of Education, and served on the Coachella Valley Unified School District Board of
Trustees from 2006-2010,where she was elected at age 23. In 2013, Romero was elected Treasurer
of the California County Boards of Education, and is one of the youngest county board of education
trustees in the state. She has served on the statewide board of directors of the California Latino
School Boards Association, is an alumna of the Women’s Policy Institute, and serves on the board of
directors of the Children’s Discovery Museum.
