YEO Bios Alex Pratt School Committee Member Littleton, Massachusetts Alex Pratt was elected to the Littleton School Committee in May 2013. He is a college student at Northeastern University and a teaching assistant at the Harvard University Extension School. Committee Member Pratt serves as the co-chair of the Pursuit of Excellence Task Force and as the school committee representative to the Permanent Municipal Building Committee. He has testified before the legislature’s Joint Committee on Education on bills impacting students’ well-being and performance, and he has published articles on education policy in the Littleton Independent, the Lowell Sun, and the Boston Globe. While in high school, Pratt advised the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education on issues relating to Littletonarea public schools. He is currently studying sociology and economics at Northeastern University in Boston. @alexdpratt Andrés Quintero Governing Board Member San Jose, California A lifelong resident of East San Jose, Andrés Quintero attended several east side schools and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School. After graduating from Evergreen Valley College, Quintero transferred to San Jose State University where he earned a B.A. in political science and a master of public administration. Quintero began his career in public policy working for former San Jose Councilmember Forrest Williams and for the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors in 2009. Quintero served as district director for the California State Assembly, teaches political science, and serves as a representative on the Executive Board of AFT Local 6157. Quintero also serves as chair of the San Jose International Airport Commission, and as treasurer of the Latino Leadership Alliance. He also serves his community as member of the Alum Rock Union Elementary School District (ARUSD) Governing Board. Quintero resides in East San Jose with his wife and two children. Khalif Rainey County Supervisor County Supervisor Khalif Rainey represents the 2nd District on the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors. Supervisor Rainey previously worked as a staffer in the local district office of Congresswoman Gwen Moore. Rainey’s policy priorities include efficient public transportation, economic development, and senior care.
