During the 2014 legislative session Rep. Pettersen focused on helping Colorado’s students and working families. She sponsored bipartisan legislation to put $30 million into new tuition assistance programs to help more Colorado students go to college. She also sponsored two bills to help working families find quality affordable child care, while allowing parents to stay in the workforce and pursue a career.
