Jennifer Gregerson
Mayor
Mukilteo, Washington
Jennifer Gregerson is serving her first term as mayor after having been a
member of the City Council since 2004. Gregerson, a graduate of Kamiak
High School, has a bachelor’s degree in French from New York University.
She has established an expertise in community planning, earning her
master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Washington.
Mayor Gregerson learned the values of hard work and responsibility
growing up in a family-owned business. Watching her parents fight to preserve trees and wetlands
in Harbour Pointe, she learned the importance of getting involved, speaking out, and defending your
community. Jennifer is committed to Mukilteo and believes in service; she served two years as
Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival President and volunteers with the Mukilteo Farmers Market. Today, she
makes her home with her husband, Jeff, in Mukilteo, a few miles from where she grew up.

Jose Gurrola
City Councilman
Arvin, California
City Councilman Jose Gurrola Jr. serves on the on the Arvin City Council. His parents, both
immigrants from Mexico, instilled in him the values of honesty, dedication, and integrity. He graduated
from Arvin High School with honors in June 2011. Gurrola now attends Bakersfield College, majoring
in political science, with a certificate in communications. Councilman Gurrola ran for city council
because he wanted to help the community that he loved, be a voice for the voiceless, and res tore
the people’s trust in government. On the council, he focuses on cohesiveness, a balanced budget,
economic development, and community partnerships. @JoseGurrolaJr
Dayvin Hallmon
County Board Supervisor
Kenosha, Wisconsin

In 2008, County Board Supervisor Dayvin Martin Anthony Hallmon was first
elected to office at the young age of 23. Supervisor Hallmon is currently
pursuing a bachelor’s of arts in sociology along with a bachelor’s of arts
in humanities at the University of Wisconsin. His approach to his work
involves integrating multiple disciplines to enhance programs, policy,
and community development. In 2012, Hallmon was named chair of the
Kenosha County Human Services Committee, where he oversees the budgeting and other functions
of the health and human service programs. @dayvinhallmon
