Berkley Holiday Lights Parade, and the Oak Park Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit.
Patrick Wojahn
City Councilmember
College Park, Maryland
Patrick Wojahn serves as a City Councilmember in College Park, Maryland,
where he serves as representative to the Transportation Planning Board
and the regional Metropolitan Planning Organization for the National
Capital Region. Wojahn works as director of government relations at Railsto-Trails Conservancy (RTC), which works to transform unused railroad
corridors into recreational trails and build safe networks for bicycling
and walking to promote healthy lifestyles. Before coming to RTC, Wojahn provided legal services
for people with disabilities in the D.C. metro area and advocated in Congress for better services for
people with disabilities. He grew up in Wisconsin and moved to the Washington, D.C. area to go to
law school. He has lived for 12 years in College Park with his husband. While on City Council, Wojahn
worked to promote smart growth, sustainability, quality redevelopment, and better university relations
