Joshua Young

City Commissioner
Coatesville, Pennsylvania
Commissioner Joshua Young ran for Township Commissioner in Caln
Township at the age of 23. As a commissioner, he serves as chair of
the Parks and Recreation Committee, the King’s Highway Park Master
Plan Committee, the Caln Community Day Committee, and the Green
Taskforce. He is co-chair of the Finance Committee and member of the
Police Pension Committee. Young is a founding member and vice president
of the Western Chester County Council of Governments, and serves as a trustee at Slippery Rock
University of Pennsylvania, appointed at the age of 25. He is a 2004 graduate of Slippery Rock with a
B.A. in political science and is currently vice president of Young’s Garage Inc., which his grandparents
started.

Tiffinni A. Young

City Councilwoman
Dallas, Texas
Tiffinni A. Young was elected to the Dallas City Council in May of 2015.
Young graduated from Lincoln Humanities/Communications Magnet High
School in South Dallas and is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University.
She attended University of Arkansas-Fayetteville Law School for two
years and spent her last year of law school as a visiting student at Texas
Wesleyan School of Law. She was appointed by former City Councilwoman
Barbara Mallory Caraway to serve on the inaugural City of Dallas Youth Commission in 1994. In 2007,
she was appointed by Councilman Dwaine R. Caraway to the Park & Recreation Board, and was
appointed again in 2012 by Councilwoman Carolyn Davis. Young currently works as a consultant.
