Ryan Hurst
YEO Network Team: Membership
Ryan Hurst is the Manager of Membership and Special Projects for the
Young Elected Officials Network. Originally from Plantation, Florida,
Ryan is a graduate of the Florida State University, where he received
a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Political Science
and Interdisciplinary Social Science. Ryan has worked on local, state, and
federal campaigns, including helping to lead the Obama campaign to victory
in Florida in 2008 as a field organizer for three of North Florida’s largest counties. Before joining
the YEO Network staff, Ryan served as an intern, assisting with the 2008 and 2009 National
Convenings. Ryan is also an alumnus of the Front Line Leaders Academy, a nonpartisan program

Linda Inge
YEO Network Team: Administration
Linda began working with People For the American Way Foundation
in 2000 as a volunteer, but quickly turned her passion for civil rights
into a career. Born and raised in North Florida, Linda’s background is in
accounting. She worked as an accountant for Hopping, Boyd, Green and
Sams Law Firm in Tallahassee, Florida and for the Florida Association of
Counties. Since joining People For the American Way Foundation and
P e o p l e For the American Way, Linda has worked on a number of campaigns, including
election protection and Supreme Court nominations. She currently serves as the YEO Network

YEO Network Team: Policy & Programs
Dawn Huckelbridge, the Policy and Programs Director, has professional
and academic expertise in progressive public policy, as well as broad
experience recruiting, training, and supporting candidates and elected
officials. Most recently, she served as Senior Policy Consultant to the
Center for Women Policy Studies, providing policy support and technical
assistance to a network of elected officials at both the state and international
levels. She previously served as Deputy Director of the Barbara Lee Family
Foundation and Political Office, supporting women’s political leadership through research,
training, education, and civic engagement projects. She also has worked in political and issue
communications with GMMB, and has consulted on a number of international political and public
interest projects. She has served on the board of Emerge Massachusetts, an organization that
trains progressive women candidates. She graduated from the London School of Economics and
Political Science with a master’s degree in Gender and Social Policy. She earned her bachelor’s
degree from Northwestern University, where she studied Communications and Political Science.
