Dominick Moreno
State Representative
Commerce City, Colorado
State Representative Dominick Moreno was born and raised in Commerce
City, Colorado. He attended Georgetown University in Washington, DC,
where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in American government. Less than
a year after his college graduation, Moreno was elected to the Commerce
City Council. Prior to his election, Moreno worked as a legislative aide for the
Colorado General Assembly. He is the youngest serving member of the state legislature. In his
first session, Moreno sponsored legislation to expand school breakfast in low-income schools,
to increase transparency in the oil and gas industry, and to provide unemployment benefits to
involuntarily locked-out workers. @domoreno
Nina Morris
Deputy Mayor Pro Tem
Lancaster, Texas
Nina Morris is serving her second term as deputy mayor pro tem on the
Lancaster City Council. Through her nonprofit organization, Persons In
Need of Knowledge, she motivates individuals to become leaders and
encourages them to reach their full potential. Dallas Weekly voted Morris one
of the “top 25 people to look out for in 2009” and described her as a “mover and
shaker in the community” in 2010. Morris has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Southern
Methodist University and a master’s degree in forensic psychology from Argosy University.
Hailey Morton
Town Council Member
Jackson, Wyoming
Hailey Morton is a town council member in Jackson, Wyoming. Morton
grew up in Jackson and believes in fostering a sustainable economy as
well as working with the younger generation on community issues and
projects.
