Tony Michelassi serves on the Dupage County Board. Michelassi has
been working since he was 16, and got into politics in 2006 as volunteer
coordinator for the Ruben Zamora for Congress campaign. He has also
been involved in the Winfield Township democratic organization, the
Naperville Township Democratic Organization, and has attended classes at
Democracy for America and Camp Wellstone.

Edgar Montes

School Board Member
Rialto, California
Edgar Montes serves on the Rialto Unified School District Board of
Education.

Derwin Montgomery

Council Member
Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Council Member Derwin Montgomery became the youngest member of
the Winston-Salem City Council in 2009. He serves as the vice chair of the
public works committee and as a member of the public safety committee.
Montgomery comes from humble beginnings; his father is a Baptist pastor
and retired educator and his mother is a book keeper. He is a graduate of
Winston-Salem State University, an Eagle Scout, and member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
