Kevin Killer Jane Kim Board Supervisor San Francisco, California Jane Kim was elected in January of 2011 to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors representing District 6, consisting of Alcatraz Island, Civic Center, Mission Bay, South of Market, the Tenderloin, Treasure Island, and Yerba Buena Island. She serves on the land use, city and school district, Transbay joint powers, and transportation authority committees. Prior to her election to the board of supervisors, she served as member and president of the San Francisco Board of Education. Jane’s main policy priorities include immigrant rights, economic justice, and government accountability. @supejanekim Chris Larson State Senator Milwaukee, Wisconsin State Senator Chris Larson was elected to the Wisconsin State Senate in November of 2010. He was later elected to serve as the Senate Minority Leader for the 2013-2014 legislative session. Larson was one of the 14 senators who went to Illinois for more than three weeks to thwart a vote on a plan to curtail bargaining rights for public employees. Previously, Larson was a Milwaukee County Board Supervisor, focusing on fully funding area parks and transit systems. As a state senator, Larson focuses on the environment, drunk driving, mass transit, campaign finance reform, and recruiting people to engage in the political process. In his downtime, Larson trains for marathons and is working towards running one in each of the 50 states. @ChrisJLarson Stay connected: Keep the #YEOmentum going with @YEONetwork 53 YOUNG ELECTED O FFICIALS State Representative Pine Ridge, South Dakota State Representative Kevin Killer is currently serving his third term in the South Dakota State Legislature where he serves on the judiciary and state affairs committee. Killer is the treasurer for the Native American Caucus of State Legislators and is a member of the State Agricultural and Rural Leaders Association. He is an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Killer has worked for the South Dakota Democratic Party, South Dakotans Against Discrimination, and the election campaigns for President Barack Obama, Senators Tom Daschle and Tim Johnson, and Representative Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin. Representative Killer is currently a trainer for the Native American Leadership Program for Wellstone Action.
