Candace Hollingsworth is a city council member in Hyattsville, Maryland.
During her previous career in organizational development, she successfully
managed project portfolios as large as $18 million, and led business
process improvements for national nonprofit organizations, medical
research centers, and government agencies. She has served as vice-president
of the Hyattsville Elementary School PTA and the Hyattsville Civic Association. Hollingsworth
completed a master’s degree in public policy at Georgetown University and a bachelor of arts
at Emory University.
Sara Howard
State Senator
Omaha, Nebraska
State Senator Sara Howard was elected to the Nebraska Legislature in
November of 2012. She currently serves as development specialist for
OneWorld Community Health Centers. Prior to her work at OneWorld,
Senator Howard was a staff attorney at the Illinois Maternal and Child
Health Coalition in Chicago, Illinois. In that capacity, she advocated on behalf
of maternal and infant health policy, while producing grants, founding chapters, and conducting
research. She is a member of several civic organizations including the League of Women Voters
and she volunteers for the Friends of the Omaha Public Library, Film Streams Ruth Sokolof
Theatre, and the Joslyn Castle Trust. She received her law degree from Loyola University Chicago
School of Law with specialty certificates in tax law and child and family law.

City Representative
El Paso, Texas
City Representative Eddie Holguin, Jr. was first elected to represent
District 6 of El Paso, Texas in 2005, and was re-elected in 2007 and 2011.
Since being elected to office, Holguin has made it a priority to ensure that
all senior centers, libraries, and community centers have been remodeled
and updated. Holguin has also established numerous new soccer fields, skate
parks, and other amenities geared specifically towards young people within his district. City
Representative Holguin was instrumental in the creation of the Sun Metro Mission Valley Transit
Terminal, which provides public transportation services to thousands of Mission Valley residents.
He is a small business owner and he strongly believes that micro-businesses are the backbone
of the local economy.
