Frieda K. Edgette, an executive coach and organizational strategist with a
political consulting background, leads Novos Consulting. Drawing from a
decade of experience, Edgette has implemented and refined an effective
approach to change (‘novos’) grounded in comprehensive stakeholder
engagement, organizational development, political intelligence,
partnership building, communications strategies, and authenticity. She
advises emergent and seated leaders across sectors through the complex and
politicized world of social, legislative, and organizational change. Prior to launching Novos,
Edgette worked on more than 100 change initiatives throughout North America and Europe
as a campaign strategist and public affairs consultant. Edgette facilitated the development
and implementation of integrated change management strategies across a variety of sectors.
These initiatives range from major community culture changes, public/private partnerships that
expand access to government services, multinational mergers to powerful individual leader
transformations - all with positive, systemic organizational and social impacts. She also founded
Courage to Run™, a leadership initiative dedicated to mutually developing women leaders on
boards, in business, and committed to public service.
