Jason Pu Rev. Dr. Simeon L. Queen City Councilman Prairie View, Texas Rev. Dr. Simeon L. Queen is a city councilman and the mayor pro tem of Prairie View, Texas. He is chairman of the of adjustments and appeals board for the city. Dr. Queen is the author of a groundbreaking book, Christians We Be Clubbin, which seeks to highlight a new consciousness in spiritual enlightenment for the younger generation. Queen attended Prairie View A&M University for his bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and received a doctorate in missionology from The Lord’s Outreach School of Theology in Lake Charles. Queen is involved in various organizations, including Sigma Rhomeo Inc., and is the national chaplain of the Prairie View A&M University National Alumni Association. Dr. Queen is currently the pastor of congregational and community support at St. John’s Downtown United Methodist Church, one of the most progressive churches in the country. @PastorSimQ Khalif Rainey County Supervisor Milwaukee, Wisconsin County Supervisor Khalif Rainey represents the 2nd district on the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors. Supervisor Rainey previously worked as a staffer in the district office of Congresswoman Gwen Moore. Rainey’s policy priorities include efficient public transportation, economic development, and senior care. He received a juris doctorate degree from the UCLA School of Law in 1999 and went on to work as a business attorney with a Silicon Valley law firm representing technology, venture capital, banking, and financial institutions. During his time with the firm, Pu won an award from the San Mateo County Legal Aid Society for his work providing pro bono business services to lowincome entrepreneurs and small business owners. Council Member Pu is chair of the San Gabriel Unified School District’s board advisory improvement committee, which provides community input on the board’s educational initiatives. He is a founding board member of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County. Council Member Pu is a dedicated family man and community member.
