NATHAN HOUSE NEWSLETTER - Term 4 Volume 1 | Page 7

Notice the change…? All that is left is to wish you well in your move to new boarding houses or further afield. Thank you for the good times and for the tough ones. We have all grown and played a part in nurturing your young men. I would like to thank the masters Messrs Huysamen, Swart, Barbour, Ngcobo, Bam and more recently Morgan. They have given tirelessly of their time. Without the effort of these men, 2013 would not have ended on a positive note. With the 150th celebrations and their normal duties, these men have been kept very busy with loads of preparation and few holidays. Then they had to try and prepare lessons on top of that. It takes a special master to deal with the needs of seventy-six 2nd form boarders and have superceded our expectations. From Bible studies to fishing trips, the needs of the boys have been catered for and then some. Mr Ngcobo leaves us for Clark House next year to take up the new challenge of senior boys. We thank him and wish him well. Lastly, to our wives, girlfriends and families – thank you for sharing us with our other family, “oh boys of Nathans”. An Old Irish Blessing May love and laughter light your days, and warm your heart and home. May good and faithful friends be yours, wherever you may roam. May peace and plenty bless your world with joy that long endures. May all life's passing seasons bring the best to you and yours! Have a super holiday and a blessed Christmas. Bless as many people as you can. Dorian Larter
