“When you find a product that sells and performs
exceptionally well accompanied by a manufacturer that
acts as a true partner, business will flourish.” Tim says.
“We’ve found that, over the last twenty-
seven years of business, we want to give
our customers the best trailer-buying
experience and service we can,” Sue
explains.
Over the years, the couple also found that
carrying high-quality products is important
to a dealership’s success. That’s why they
stock well-known brands such as Sure-
Trac by Novae, Bravo Trailers, Hillsboro
Industries, Aluma Trailers, Gen-Y Hitch,
Gridiron Custom Tool Storage and more.
“When you find a product that sells and
performs exceptionally well accompanied
by a manufacturer that acts as a true
partner, business will flourish.” Tim says.
Customers who work with Kelley and
Sons Trailers are truly dealing with a
family-owned-and-operated
business.
Two of their three sons work in the
dealership full-time and will take over
when Tim and Sue decide to retire. Steve,
now a 4-year veteran, helps with sales,
runs the parts department and maintains
scheduling for all service work. Ryan has
been working at the dealership for over
a year now, unloading trailers, checking

them in for sale and performing service
work. Their third son would love to be
more involved, but he’s an ER doctor.
From customers to employees, family has
been a running theme through Kelley and
Sons Trailers’ existence.
“We love spending as much time with
family as possible,” explains Sue, “but we
also truly enjoy what we do. We enjoy
running our business!”
Returning the Favor
A year ago, the Kelleys were asked
to work with Mike Rowe on his
Facebook show, Returning the Favor.
Rowe travels around the country in
search of remarkable people making
a difference in their community, then
does something nice for them. The
Kelleys were asked to be involved in
the replacement of a stolen trailer
for a gentleman in Detroit that runs
a youth leadership program providing
free lawn care services to elderly and
disabled Detroit residents.
