NATDA and Kenect Bring Text Marketing to Trailer
Industry
NATDA is excited to announce a partnership with Kenect, the
leading text messaging platform in the trailer industry. Kenect’s
platform allows dealers to communicate with customers by sending
and receiving text messages from their existing business’ phone line.
“Kenect has been working with many of our dealers for quite some
time now. We kept hearing great things about how Kenect was
helping the trailer industry and felt like the natural next step was
to deepen our relationship with them. We’re excited to call them
a partner and look forward to furthering our mission together of
helping trailer dealers across North America,” said Jesse Battle,
Executive Director of NATDA.
To introduce the partnership to the NATDA membership, Kenect
will be attending the 2019 NATDA Trade Show & Convention in
St. Louis, MO from September 5-7, 2019. Graham Anderson, Co-
Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at Kenect, will be presenting
during the Dealer Education portion of the event. His presentation,
“Connecting to the New, Digitally Social Consumer,” will focus on
the way trailer dealers communicate with customers and how those
methods are ever-changing.
Graham shared the same enthusiasm about the partnership, “The
NATDA is a trusted name in the trailer industry. We could not be
more excited to be working with them and are excited to deliver
great value to them as well as the hundreds of trailer dealers across
North America.”
NATDA Teams Up with Dexter for Technical Expertise
For the first time, NATDA is offering a certified technical training
class presented by Dexter’s Bill Snider.
The four-hour, hands-on class will cover commonly used axles and
suspensions, including a presentation on theory and practical training
with spring axles and electric drum brakes. Snider will also discuss
technician safety, component identification, wheel bearing and brake
drum service, spring suspension operation, basic alignment trouble
shooting and more.
“This course will positively impact dealership technicians – men and
women that play a vital role in the dealership experience,” explained
Jesse Battle, NATDA Executive Director. “Dexter will provide these
technicians with a highly valued education and certification that will
translate into their quality of work.”
Though this year’s technical training course is full, NATDA and
Dexter have partnered to provide two more editions of the class
in 2020. NATDA will also provide additional, hands-on training
courses covering other topics next year. The association will
announce more details at a later date.
