Taskmaster Components primarily built its tires and wheels in China before the trade disputes began and now the company manufactures in seven countries spanning North and South America , Europe and Asia . While building new manufacturing partnerships on the fly , the team at Taskmaster Components focused on product quality .
“ We think there is always room in the industry for high-quality tires and wheels at fair prices ,” says Tom Walker , CEO Emeritus . ” The end-user cares about what they are hauling .”
With eyes on diversifying its wheel lineup , Taskmaster Components partnered with Maxion Wheels , the world ’ s largest wheel manufacturer , to build its newest wheel , the Vesper .

Trade disputes spanning the last four years and this year ’ s pandemic have thrown a wrench into the global supply chain . Taskmaster Components has leveraged its longstanding partnerships to weather these unforeseen challenges and has made it a priority to build new relationships along the way that will ensure the company continues to grow . Taskmaster Components continues to succeed due to an unwavering commitment to its employees and its emphasis on product quality .
When the Pandemic hit , the global logistics team at Taskmaster Components sprang into action , securing the massive supply of Personal Protective equipment it would need to keep its 125 + employees safe and working .
“ We haven ’ t had to furlough a single person ,” says Amanda Walker , Chief Operations Officer , “ we focused on implementing a comprehensive safety plan . Then made sure that payroll would not be interrupted .”
All employees were given full-time pay , even when some employees were unable to work a full 40 hours . The company also gave parents flexibility , allowing some employees to work from home and provided lunch to its warehouse employees during the lockdown .
“ I believe these are the highest quality steel trailer wheels on the market ,” says Murat Göçay , Chief Technology Officer . “ The wheels combine a high grade of steel with advanced engineering , which allows for overall weight reduction while maintaining strength and durability .”
To bolster Taskmaster Components ’ tire lineup , the company has become the exclusive North American distributor of the Diamondback STR / MTR line , a high-quality radial tire built by a well-known , well-funded , and progressive company .
“ The Diamondback is another exciting tire for us that passes FMVSS139 , has no tire ash added as filler , and allows us to continue our mission of offering high-quality products at great prices ,” says Tom Walker .
Taskmaster Component ’ s commitment to diversifying their product lines results in expanded customer choice and , more importantly , insulates their customers from supply shortages . Greater SKU redundancy equals greater peace of mind .
