Insights from the 2025 NATDA Trailer Show
The 2025 NATDA Trailer Show brought together members of the Exhibitor Advisory Committee, who provided key insights on the event’ s success and industry trends.
Exhibitor Advisory Committee Reflections It was clear from the start that this year’ s show energized both dealers and exhibitors. The Exhibitor Advisory Committee shared that attendees came to the 2025 show with purpose.“ Many dealers came saying,‘ It’ s time to look for new profit centers,’ and they actively sought out what we had to offer,” said Travis Otto of Malibu Financial.“ We had a line of folks waiting to talk to us.”
Networking emerged as another highlight of the NATDA Trailer Show. Mike Willers from Razor Tracking noted,“ The NATDA Trailergating Welcome Party was fun and original with members of the Titans drum crew and cheer team adding excitement, it set a tone for everyone to be open to converse.”
Willers also added that the energy and steady flow on the show floor made it easy to connect:“ I brought my veteran salesperson who was skeptical on how open and interactive dealers would be on the show floor, but after four hours, he leaned over to me and said this has been the best show he’ s been to in a long time.”
Committee members also appreciated the show’ s overall vibe and creative approach. Otto observed,“ One thing I love about the trailer industry and the NATDA show in particular is the sheer number of hardworking entrepreneurs running their own business full time who don’ t have time to be here but still are. Everyone is down-to-earth but still arrive with purpose and an‘ I’ ll outwork the competition’ attitude.
Exhibitors thought outside of the box more than ever this year, with unique themes. A popular one I noticed was a booth with poker tables and cocktail servers, making the floor even more engaging and fun.”
Committee members also observed a shift: more established dealerships were exploring new opportunities. Willers commented,“ I think this is all fantastic. It means the trailer industry is waking up and getting more competitive in new and different ways. Competition drives innovation and we saw it loud and clear this year!”
About The Committee The NATDA Exhibitor Advisory Committee offers guidance on event strategy and helps strengthen the exhibitor and sponsor experience.
