Manufacturing began at Norstar in 2012 when the Harms brothers decided to join forces and leverage their combined decades of experience to build a cutting-edge truck bed manufacturing facility from the ground up . What started as small patch of farmland in Brookston , Texas , has quickly grown into a state-of-theart multi brand operation . With determination , a shared vision , and their sights set on success , the Harms brothers knew that following their passion and paving the way for the next generation was the driving force needed to create a lasting legacy .
Unstoppable Growth Armed with strong work ethics and years of manufacturing insights , the brothers began to lay the foundations of a company that would become an industry leader almost overnight . The vision wasn ’ t only to produce , but to produce with precision , excellence , and innovation . Norstar began the journey with truck beds and many state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques have been employed since day one . In 2015 they launched Iron Bull trailers and within 5 short years the revolutionary designs , high quality , and unmatched value have propelled Iron Bull to be among the top five open trailer manufacturers in America and won multiple awards for being the fasted growing trailer company nationwide . Shortly thereafter in 2019 , Norstar ’ s sister company Konig Industries was founded and has served as a springboard to bring the next generation of Harms , Ronnie and Randy , into the manufacturing bloodline . Konig hosts a manufacturing division named Empirian that specializes in building skid steer attachments including buckets , grapples and pallet forks . Rounding out the Family of Brands , Mowhawk Mowers is the latest division of Konig Industries .
