Before 2020 , it would have been hard to imagine that you would have a difficult time getting any type of material to build or service a trailer in the United States . It was as simple as calling your supplier and the products were as good as there , but as we all learned , it turns out that in the right conditions , supply can be cut off in an instant . When it comes to trailers , axles are at the top of the list of importance for the obvious reason that the build can ’ t start and a trailer that has axle damage can ’ t get back on the road without them . That problem becomes much more critical to small and medium size builders and businesses for a few reasons . The biggest suppliers have the biggest customers , and these companies have the capital , storage space and relationships to acquire significant amounts of available inventory to protect their company leaving the small and medium companies scrambling . Recognizing this uneven playing field , Willy Dyck decided he would go about doing something to level it and started Besser Pro Axles in 2021 with the aim of being able to keep a consistent flow of quality products going out to the small and medium size companies across the country . Besser builds axles in the 3500-8000 lbs . per axle range . They carry enough house stock for a 5-month supply of building . Their lead times are never above 10 days however , most product goes out in the 3 – 5-day range . All the products are made in the U . S . A and are interchangeable with other brands for easy maintenance and repairs . They also have a one-year warranty on seals and a two- year hub to hub . “ We want to build relationships with companies of all sizes . We are all about customer service , building high quality reliable products and making it as easy as possible for people to have a steady flow of inventory ” Dyck tells us . They also had a fantastic 2022 trade show experience and will be back next year . “ It ’ s just a great event to meet with clients and potential new customers ” says Dyck . Well , it sounds like Besser Pro is off to a great start and we are looking forward to watching them grow in the coming years .
