Technology is a huge part of today ’ s workplace from dealership management software to CRMs and cloud-based accounting systems . To get the most bang for your buck , here are six tips that will help maximize the impact of your technology across your dealership for both new tech solutions and old .

1 ) Outline how your team should use the technology Remember your employees are not all tech whizzes . Just because they know how to post a story on your Instagram account doesn ’ t guarantee they will know how to use other software .
It ’ s important to walk through exactly how they should use the software whether it ’ s for selling a trailer or scheduling a service repair .
2 ) Choose a product admin / lead Before launching any new software , assign a team member to be the product admin . This person ’ s role will be to fully understand the product and be the go-to resource for all your team members . Not sure where to enter a phone number or need to build a report ? The product admin should be able to either know the answer or know where to find it .
