Geer : One of our main goals at S & B Truck Beds is to continue to grow and bring new designs and ideas to everyday farming equipment . We do this with the pursuit of new , innovative ideas in search of efficiency in our quality products and equipment . Around five years ago , S & B Truck Beds ’ parent company , S & B Custom Innovations , began producing carrying racks for automotive parts . It ’ s a smaller part of the company , but it ’ s a lucrative addition and a great example of invention at our company . Just last year , the truck bed division of the company came to be .
NATDA : Tell us about your most popular model . How does this differentiate you from others in the industry ?
Geer : Currently , our short truck bed with single rear wheel is our most popular truck bed . The model comes with a steel deck , mounting pads , headache rack and recessed gooseneck hitch to better serve our dealers . We aim to manufacture truck beds that are universal for all makes and models of trucks . We also build beds one at a time to ensure quality that dealers would be proud to sell . Our plant crew has many years of experience welding , painting and manufacturing .
NATDA : What is your lead time ? Do you offer a MAP policy , warranty or product training ?
Geer : We stock many of our truck beds throughout the year , but for those wanting custom orders , our fulfillment time is typically four to eight weeks . We offer some product training , but as a new company , it is still in its developmental stages . We like to hear from our dealers on what they want to be trained on . No MAP policy is in place for S & B Truck Beds and there is a limited warranty noted in our products ’ owner ’ s manual .
NATDA : Following the 2021 NATDA Trailer Show , what are you doing in preparation for growth in 2022 ?
Geer : As a new manufacturer to the show in 2021 , our company looks forward to meeting and discussing opportunities at the 2022 NATDA Trailer Show . We are excited to improve and grow our product lines and dealer network . As we move forward , we will strive to have a clearer and clearer idea as to where our company will go .
