NATDA ’ s Director of Operations & Events , Andria Gibbon , CEM , provides details on a new component of NATDA ’ s annual Dealership Performance Training program , Dealer Performance Week , scheduled to kick off in early 2021 .
Education has never been more important in the trailer community than it is right now . From service and parts to marketing and management , there ’ s always something that can be done to make a business more efficient and profitable .
In 2021 , NATDA will introduce a brand-new , on-demand component to its annual Dealership Performance Training program – Dealer Performance Week - through the association ’ s YouTube channel . The event , taking place from March 8 – 12 , serves as the kickoff for the year ’ s educational platform .
“ Each day , we ’ ll release new videos associated with topics of interest that help dealership owners fine-tune their businesses to a greater degree ,” revealed Andria Gibbon , CEM .
The decision to initiate yet another virtual event was not one made lightly .
“ As a dealer-first association , we see our role as that of a provider in the industry ’ s space . At the end of the day , we want to provide topnotch content that results in actionable items for dealers . When we decided to expand our Dealership Performance Training program into an annual , cohesive plan , we knew additional education was an absolute must and an easily accessible platform like YouTube would only help us reach more dealers ’ eyes ,” said Gibbon .
Currently , the topics set to be discussed fall in the realm of crucial territory for dealers ’ everyday business operations – Marketing , Parts and Service , Operational Tactics , and Sales . However , Gibbon indicated the event isn ’ t likely to stop there .
Gibbon explained , “ After a year like 2020 , it ’ s imperative that we provide detailed information to dealers , so they can properly prepare for 2021 . We have some ideas up our sleeves , done in collaboration with experienced veterans in the trailer industry , that I believe will help with that .”
