Even with all the growth and improvements set in place over the last year , Norstar has also been working on a couple new products for 2021 . Norstar has always been a name trusted to deliver a heavy-duty truck bed that can withstand even the hardest working conditions , and with this in mind , Norstar is introducing a new utility truck bed designed specifically for the service industry . The Norstar UB ( Utility Body ) is built with 16 gauge galvannealed steel , has a ton of storage space that includes vertical cabinets , optional top boxes and over-the-wheel cabinets with multiple lighting setups . The UB can also be equipped with an optional 2 ½ ” hitch tree when needed that is rated for 18,500 Lbs . There are multiple design options to choose from , making it easy to customize for a variety of industries . The new UB is sure to be a hit , and Norstar offers something new to the utility body market with the lighter weight , heavier duty , and greater workspace that the UB model offers .
2021 will also see two new Iron Bull trailer series introduced to the market . The DWB and the EWB , 8-inch I-beam framed trailers with all the standard features of the regular 6-inch framed DTB and ETB . These two most popular Iron Bull choices have been standardized and have their own production line now so that these trailers can be manufactured quickly and efficiently in order to meet the high demand these trailers have created .
Alongside this new line of trailers , there have been several upgrades added to the standard build sheet for all trailers . All Iron Bull trailer models with tandem dual wheel axles will now come standard with Dexter HDSS heavy-duty adjustable suspension systems . Iron Bull trailers are also moving from having standard silver wheels to all trailers receiving a free black wheel upgrade . The biggest difference made in the trailer production process has been adding primer to the powder coat process , and upgrading the powder being used during powder coat . These new upgrades have been huge hits and Norstar is excited to continue building better products for our loyal customers .
With these new products and upgraded trailers , Norstar anticipates continued growth going forward and is currently expanding its manufacturing facility to prepare for this growth . The demand for trailers and truck beds has returned to an all new high and Norstar is working hard to fill its inventory on the lot again .
