After the breakout sessions, dealers gathered within the Ferrara Theater for seminars from Morgan
Stanely’s Brad Stanek, who laid out the roadmap for dealer succession planning, and TransSafe
Consulting, LLC’s Annette M. Sandberg, Esq. who explained how federal and state trailering
regulations are impacting dealerships across the country.
Finally, Mark Podeyn of Action RV and Mark Podeyn Consulting, brought Clint Junker (Trailers of
the East Coast), Dave Tosh (Grandville Trailer), Peggy Walker (99 West Trailers) and Eli Mendes
(Tropic Trailer) up to the stage for the NATDA Dealer Discussion Panel, which covered a variety
of topics affecting trailer dealerships today. Dealers who made it out for the Dealer Education
classes were treated to a special Dealer Happy Hour sponsored by Synchrony and Northpoint
Commercial Finance following the discussion panel.
On Friday, the show opened an hour earlier than the 2018 iteration to provide dealers even more
access to exhibitors. After a long day of networking with industry-contacts, inspecting the latest
products and making deals for the newest trailer inventory, attendees walked just a few short
blocks over to Ballpark Village, right across from St. Louis Cardinal’s Busch Stadium, to enjoy the
annual Dealer Reception sponsored by Redneck Trailer Supplies.
Dealers and exhibitors returned for more business on Saturday to finalize any discussions and
hear the winners of the annual New Product Awards. After the final tallies had been counted,
it was Valcrum, LLC’s Universal Oil Bath Caps that took home the top prize. Creative Products
Group’s Ultra E Pro and Specialty Product Technologies’ Trailer Life Meter took the second and
third place awards, respectively.
