“By attending the NATDA Trade Show manufacturers
were shopping for my business—that was well worth
it. I plan on attending next year.”
The biggest change to his dealership
process, though, has come at the digital
hands of Trailer Central. Though his
website has not gone live at the time of
this article being written, Atherton has
been impressed with the integrations
the developer has already been able to
connect.
“I’m able to get on the back-end and
input my inventory,” Atherton explains
of the process, “and that integrates with
Facebook Marketplace. It just hit a few
days ago. Yesterday, I had to spend an
hour and a half responding to Facebook
Messenger. It just kind of exploded. I was
really impressed with the response so
far.”
To make things even simpler, Atherton
admits he didn’t have to do much to get
the process up and running.

He said, “Trailer Central set it up for me.
They called me, did some training with me
and told me how to communicate with
Facebook Marketplace. It integrates my
full inventory straight into it every day.”
When asked about his overall experience
at the 2019 NATDA Trade Show &
Convention, Atheron was nothing but
complimentary.
“It was an incredible experience,” he says.
“Even the networking alone. As a whole, I
had a hard time coming from a feed store
and trying to get my foot in the door at
a lot of places. But, attending the trade
show, they were shopping for my business
instead of me asking them to sell their
stuff. That was well worth it. I plan on
going back next year.”
