have stayed committed to aluminum, as they believe in the long-term benefits the trailers provide in the Canadian environment. It has also helped them stand out in a competitive market. By building a reputation around a single, high-quality product type, they’ ve earned loyal customers who come back again and again.
Beyond traditional flatbeds and utility trailers, Canadian Made Trailers has expanded into more specialized models. They’ ve supplied enclosed car haulers, tilt-decks, and even trailers used for wildfire response— complete with water tanks and custom fabrication. Their willingness to customize has opened new doors and strengthened relationships with buyers who need specific builds or who want to buy from a Canadian supplier.
Lean Operation, Local Focus While some dealers have growth strategies that include increasing volume or expanding into new territories, Cory and Danielle are focused on staying true to their roots. There are no immediate plans to grow into the U. S. market. Tariffs and logistical headaches have only strengthened their decision to stay Canadian-focused. Their message— Canadian made, Canadian sold— resonates with their audience and brings a level of trust that buyers can feel from the first conversation.
Their marketing is straightforward— they rely heavily on various online platforms like Kijiji and Marketplace, where buyers are already looking for trailers. Through these tactics, over the phone business, and word of mouth, Canadian Made has continued to deliver quality in their area.
Looking ahead, Cory and Danielle are preparing for their first NATDA Trailer Show. They’ re excited to connect in person with manufacturers, learn what other dealers are doing, and bring new ideas back home. As NATDA members, they’ ll tap into practical tools, dealer-focused resources, and real-world insights that help small operations grow stronger and stay competitive.
For Canadian Made Trailers, the goal isn’ t to be the biggest, it’ s to keep delivering trailers people trust, with service that feels personal and real.
