We spoke with Chad Behnke , CEO of Behnke Trailers to learn more about this family-run operation and what he believes has led to its success . He stated , “ Family-owned means that we have the power to make quick and effective decisions that benefit your company without having to consult an exhaustive chain of command . It also means that we ’ re still able to stay true to what got us here in the first place , and that is a quality product .”
Behnke continues , “ We are renowned in the industry for our constant innovation and ability to seek out and provide hauling solutions to the most difficult applications on the road . Our facilities are first-in-class and separate us from much of the trailer industry . We have a wide array of fiber lasers , structural lasers / plasmas , subarc beam fabrication lines , robotic welders and expansive paint facilities . This infrastructure allows us to meticulously control our manufacturing process by performing nearly every fabrication process in house . We feel this provides greater consistency in our build quality compared to manufacturers that are outsourcing a variety of these processes . This means you get the exact products your customers need when you need them . With all of these tools at our disposal , we can design and build the strongest and most durable trailers efficiently to maintain competitive pricing ”.
Moving forward , Behnke is expanding , having secured an additional 26 acres of land adjacent to current operations , bringing the complex size to 55 acres . They are also adding 65k sq ft of manufacturing and warehousing capability to build out new lines of trailers . The team at Behnke is confident about the future and continuing to expand .
You won ’ t be able to miss Behnke at the 2024 NATDA Trailer Show . They have a huge booth , # 1930 , in the middle of the show floor . They would certainly like you to come by and , as they say , “ Experience the difference .” Or contact Behnke Trailers using the contact information below .
