What was the impetus for starting the Women in the Trailer Industry Committee ?
Gibbon : NATDA has explored the idea for a couple of years . With Caitlyn & Lacey launching their Women in the Trailer Industry podcast and seeing its success , along with the popularity of their live broadcasts at the 2022 NATDA Trailer Show , it became obvious it was time and there was no better partner than The Trailer Parts Outlet team to help launch it .
What does the committee hope to accomplish in its inaugural year ?
Jugert : Overall , the committee hopes to create a space of support for women and this year , we ’ ll start laying the framework for generations to come .
Gibbon : This year ’ s objectives include growing the LinkedIn networking group , planning education and networking opportunities , and hosting a Women ’ s Roundtable & Networking event at this year ’ s NATDA Trailer Show
