NATDA Welcomes Three New Members to Its Dealership Advisory Committee .

Josh Motely
Josh Motely , Great West Trailer and Truck Josh Motley ’ s passion for the automotive and trailer industry started in 1993 . After serving in the Air Force during the Gulf War , he was ready to start a new chapter . As a salesperson at one of the largest GMC dealerships in Colorado , he quickly became a top performer . After success in the automotive industry , Josh set his sights on owning a dealership . In September 2003 , Great West Trailer and Truck Inc . was born . The dealership has earned several top awards over the years , including recognition as the number one Bloomer dealership ( 2016 ), the number one SMC dealership ( 2020 and 2021 ), multiple Top 10 awards from Exiss and Sooner , and a $ 1M + dealer for Outlaw conversions .
Ryan Cope
Ryan Cope , Korral Supply Texas resident , Ryan Cope started his career path in the trailer industry in 2006 at North American Cargo , a division of Load Trail , managing supply chain for the large-scale operation . A career move took him to Diamond C , where he started in operations , but quickly moved to sales , evenutally rising to Vice President of Sales . He joined PJ Trailers as New Business Manager and , over time , added Big Tex and BWise brands to his sales portfolio . Cope considers himself lucky to have worked with the most seasoned veterans in the industry . He is currently applying his knowledge and insight on the retail side of trailer sales at Korral Supply , a dealership focused on supply customers in farming , ranching and rodeo .
Scott Yates
Scott Yates , Smokey Mountain Trailers Scott is the co-founder of Smokey Mountain Trailers . He oversees the daily operations of three full-service trailer dealerships in East Tennessee with his brother Ted . For over 20 years , the business has contributed to their community . Hailing from an entrepreneurial family and leveraging extensive experience in sales and management ( including 10 years in the automotive industry ), Scott ’ s transition from corporate professional to business owner was a natural one . His customer centric strategies , risk management experience , and extensive product knowledge have helped solidify Smokey Mountain as an industry leader . When asked , Scott credits God ’ s providence and hard work for his company ’ s success , which has enabled him to support his true mission of helping others .
