WHITE SPRUCE TRAILER SALES
After trying to purchase a trailer, Leslie and Jerry Gustafson found that the State of
Alaska was in need of a trailer dealership. How could the State of Alaska not have
one location to view a variety of trailers? In 1999, the first White Spruce Trailer
Sales location opened. The first lot was in Salcha and then moved to its current
location in North Pole a year later. The North Pole lot features 5 acres of trailers
with 3 buildings to house repair work and a large sales office that holds a wide
variety of parts and accessories. Plus, this location has an Express Title and Tag,
White Spruce’s DMV express for the public. In 2001, White Spruce Trailers opened
a second location in Anchorage, featuring 2 acres of trailers and a repair shop. The
goal of White Spruce Trailer Sales is to offer quality trailers, in stock, with warranties
and aftercare for Alaskans.
White Spruce Trailer Sales are proud members of NATDA since 2008. “When
the fax came across my desk that a national association was forming for trailer
dealerships with a goal to create unity and education, I was one of the first to sign
up,” stated Leslie. Leslie served on the Board of Directors for NATDA for 5 years
and had pleasure being part of the early years of development. “The NATDA team
has done a phenomenal job growing the association and putting on excellent yearly
conventions. We learn so much every year with the education sessions and meeting
and working with the vendors (who rarely get to Alaska to see us),” said Leslie.
White Spruce Trailer Sales believes that the more their dealership communicates
with other dealers and vendors, the more they will all learn about the industry.
