“We won the award from Statistical Surveys, Inc. for the highest percentage increase in sales for Enclosed Trailers, 2018 - 2019. We were the fastest-growing enclosed cargo trailer manufacturer in the country last year and we look to continue that into 2020,” Wright explained. “We’ve been able to max-out production on our enclosed lines and we’ve had to add onto the plant two or three times since we have been open - just so we can keep up with demand.” Currently found scattered throughout the Eastern and Northeastern United States, Rock Solid Cargo aims to fortify its dealer base in current markets as well as expand into new markets. It works closely with its dealer network, offering oneon-one customer care to dealers as well as support for its dealers’ customer base. By doing so, Wright ensures that everyone who works with or buys from Rock Solid Cargo feels that they’ve received the level of service they deserve. “We’re a company of our word. If we say something is going to happen, it happens,” Wright explained. “Our dealers have a 40-mile radius territory. We’re signing up new dealers every day and we’re always looking for dealers in territories that we’re not covering.” Wright believes his staff is one of the most knowledgeable in the industry and they frequently offer suggestions to dealers or go the extra mile. Rock Solid Cargo only works with authorized dealers so that it can offer a white-glove service to its network. “Our sales reps are dedicated to their dealers and very loyal to them. We specialize in being able to take care of that customer because we see what sells well in other areas. Our sales reps are great about making suggestions and helping out on any process along the way,” Wright shared. Dealers who walk the Trailer Show will see Rock Solid Cargo’s standard stock seven-by-sixteen and a trailer featuring the company’s race package, which features its number-one seller -the Blackout Special. The Blackout special is a trim package that features a powder-coated black finish on the top, bottom and door trim of the trailer instead of anodized or other aluminum finishes, giving the trailer a sleek, modern look. “Our dealers love to sell it,” Wright said of the Blackout special. “We’re a relatively new company, so we’re getting our name out there and extending our dealer base. We want Rock Solid Cargo to reach incredible new locations and incredible new dealers.” Photos: (1) Brandywine with blackout package and motorcycle package (2) Aerial view of the facility (3) Pewter with Blackout Package (4) Red & Black Two-Toned with Race Package (5) Deep Blue with blackout package and race package 4 3 5 www.natda.org NATDA Magazine 25
