REDARC Launches Manager30 Battery Management System Australian manufacturer REDARC Electronics launched the highly anticipated, state-of- the-art battery management system, The Manager30, to the North American marketplace. REDARC has been selling this battery management system in Australia since 2014. It is designed to charge and maintain auxiliary batteries by incorporating AC, DC and solar inputs and is ideal for recreational vehicles, caravans and camper trailers with multiple battery banks. The Manager30 is revolutionary for this market, where users who are wanting freedom and autonomy will have the ability to power their electrical equipment when camping off- grid as well as powered sites. “The Manager30 sets the benchmark for off-grid travelling, providing peace of mind when using the comforts of home while travelling around North America,” said Managing Director, Anthony Kittel. Users will be able to keep their auxiliary batteries charged from 110-volt AC mains shore power, their vehicle battery and solar panels and it’s rated at a big 30 amps – so it knows how to take charge. “One of the key features of The Manager30 is its ability to power share, meaning it can charge an auxiliary battery from multiple power sources simultaneously. And, with ‘Green Power Priority’, if solar is available, it will charge using the maximum available solar power before topping up from another power source,” said Kittel. Whether using lead acid, gel, calcium, AGM or lithium iron phosphate batteries, The Manager30 represents a complete battery charging and maintenance solution and is compatible with all vehicles and alternator systems. The Manager30 acts like six products in one: Charges auxiliary batteries from the vehicle alternator while on the move It’s a 110-volt AC mains shore power charger An MPPT solar regulator A battery isolator A load disconnect controller Includes a remote battery monitor, making it market-leading. “The Manager30 remote battery monitor display is designed to provide useful information rather than simply displaying battery voltage and current. Based on your power usage, The Manager30 uses these figures to calculate how much power you have remaining in hours and days. The Manager30 can also graphically show where your power input is coming from so user’s will know what is going on at all times”, Anthony added. The Manager30 is now available for purchase through the REDARC website and will be available through REDARC’s key distribution channels from March 2019. It will also be on display at the upcoming RVX Show March 12 – 14 at the Salt Palace Convention Center, Salt Lake City, UT.
