Action RV
Action RV was founded in 1987 by Mark Podeyn, operating out of a re-purposed
U-Haul truck. Podeyn serviced RV’s at campgrounds located in Albuquerque.
The service business expanded by selling Featherlite trailers in 1989, later adding
many other brands. Trailer sales flourished for several years reaching $7 million in
annual revenues by 2007. In 2009, Action RV exited the trailer sales business and
downsized its operation as a result of the crash of the economy.
Action RV was eventually re-launched as a boutique RV trailer service and repair
business. He also added an accessory, supply and repair parts store to compliment
service offerings. The business now operates in Bosque Farms, located south of
Albuquerque. Since the re-launch in 2011, Action RV has enjoyed year after year
double digit net profit percentages.
Podeyn credits the success of Action RV to a multi-faceted marketing strategy and a
high-performance team that consistently delivers “expert results as promised, when
promised.”
