Since 1985 , innovation has been at the core of Diamond C ’ s journey . As a young couple from East Texas , Mike and Kim Crabb embarked on the mission of establishing their own trailer manufacturing company as a means to support their family and give team members a fair , dependable place to work . Within a few short years , Diamond C emerged as a trailblazer in the industry , continuously pioneering groundbreaking technologies and features . In the late ‘ 80s and early ‘ 90s , they implemented sway control ( torque tube ) in gooseneck trailers and were one of the first to use scissor lifts in dump trailers . These pivotal milestones were about solving issues for consumers and equipping dealers with the differentiating resources they needed to thrive in a rapidly growing , competitive market . continued on page 32
