For more than 35 years, Maine Trailer has been helping professional drivers and businesses stay on the road with trailer registrations, trailer sales, leasing, parts and service.
Selling everything from 4.5 x 9’ utility trailers to 20-ton equipment trailers, the company also offers a wide variety of parts in its recently expanded showroom, six trailer bays for customer repairs and a“ mobile trailer service” for offsite trailer repair.

With skilled technicians, shipping and storage container customization, an experienced trailer staff and a one-of-a-kind mobile showroom, Maine Trailer aims to be a local problemsolver.
“ We stand out from our competition by selling commercial grade trailers and leasing only the best over-the-road and storage trailers to our clients,” explains Hathaway.“ We’ re also the only shipping container dealer in Maine to partner with area ports to ensure high-quality merchandise.”
While these adjustments have helped Maine Trailer keep up with the tangible aspects of a dealership, Hathaway says the company has embraced social media while maintaining the face-to-face relationships that his customer base requires. Being an active participant in new technology has been a major contributor to the company’ s success.
