Swift Built LLC was started by people who saw a need for affordable trailers that could handle the rugged terrain of everyday life, from two-track roads to the off-road paths ranchers needed to keep an eye on cows giving birth.
The company uses laser-cut components that are powdercoated and, every year, modifications are made to make sure Swift Built is the ultimate ranch trailer. So, aside from a trailer that doesn’ t rust, consumers get one of America’ s toughest stock trailers built to be used on the ranch.
Generally, trailers in the cattle industry either need to be beautiful, aluminum trailers for show cattle or sturdy and tough at a competitive price for ranchers who raise beef for consumption. With the latter being the most demanded, trailers need to be as tough as the ranchers pulling them. When ranchers look at Swift Built trailers, they notice the quality and details that sets the company’ s inventory apart from its competition. In fact, most of the details that have been included started as suggestions by ranchers.“ One thing we pride ourselves in is our customer service and interaction,” says Dealer Representative John Murdock.“ When our customers come forward with ideas, we take a deep consideration of the modifications. Most of the changes on the trailers, to date, where started with ideas our customers had.”
Apparently, those modifications are working for Swift Built’ s customer base. Now, the company faces a different kind of problem.
“ The biggest hurdle we’ ve encountered is problems that come from growing too quickly,” says Murdock.
While not exactly a terrible problem to have, rapid expansion does come with its own set of challenges. A dealer network
