The evolution of Viper USA started with the formation of ProAxis , Inc . in 2001 . Beth and Brian Vorst started the company to build their vision : growing metal fabrication parts into assemblies for several markets . ProAxis touched the automotive , industrial , municipal , transportation , and telecommunications industries with their experience and expertise . Simple parts for tractor trailers and elaborate weldments for the automotive industry soon opened new opportunities in agricultural equipment , security solutions , and cryogenic transport .
It became clear that providing added value to metal fabricated parts was the future vision of the company . The name ProAxis had settled into a niche and become synonymous only with metal fabricated parts in the Midwest .
