In an industry dominated by men , two women have risen through the ranks and made a name for themselves at their respective trailer businesses . We spoke to Jennifer Wharton , Office Manager at K ’ s Trailer Parts and Service , and J ’ Lynn Olah , General Manager at Shelby Trailer Service , to shed light on the female perspective of the trailer industry .
Give us a little background on yourself and how you got into the trailer industry . What were you doing beforehand and why did you make the transition ?
Wharton : I previously worked in retail , but my child was sickly and I had to miss a lot of time for doctor ’ s appointments - my manager was not supportive of that . My dad opened
