HaulGauge Introduces the Internet of Towing HaulGauge Inc. announced the immediate availability of HaulGauge™, a towing measurement device. “Many customers have already benefited from this device, which allows them to take proper towing measurements,” said Michael Hall, CEO. HaulGauge measures vehicle weight, pin weight, tongue weight, payload and other metrics essential for proper towing setup and assures confidence to the consumer in every towing situation. HaulGauge does this with its Plug & Play technology. This device obtains calibrations by reading the VIN from the OBD-II port. It transmits data via Bluetooth to an Apple or Android device. “I bought the HaulGauge to take some of the guesswork out of towing” a recent customer said. “I love it! It makes it so much easier to make sure my load is balanced and safe. I thought I would only use it with my trailers, but I found it is nice to know my load weight, too. I feel much safer towing now that I can verify that the weight is distributed properly and installation was easy. It was more accurate than I expected and now I use it all the time to make sure everything is good.” HaulGauge is now establishing distribution within multiple channels as it continues to progress in its mission to provide the best solutions available to the automotive industry. Sure-Trac by Novae Announces Enclosed Trailer Expansion Novae Corp. recently finalized an agreement on facilities to provide much needed capacity for the Sure-Trac brand of enclosed trailers. The expansion will be on an existing enclosed trailer manufacturing site in Elkhart, Indiana, with an experienced workforce. The transition work has been completed on converting this facility over to Sure-Trac product specifications and on the validation of quality standards. This nearly seamless transition allows Sure-Trac to hit the ground running with immediate production capacity for enclosed trailers. The rapidly growing demand for a higher value enclosed trailer over the past three years has necessitated this expansion of capacity in order to better service Sure-Trac’s dealers, and further investment is planned in alignment with its growth. Enclosed trailers will also continue to be produced at the current North Manchester, Indiana facility. To learn more, please visit www.sure-trac.com. www.natda.org NATDA Magazine 21
