We at NATDA hope you all have a joyful holiday weekend, enjoying get-togethers, barbeques and sunshine. We also hope this holiday inspires a sense of patriotic union, which is in fact what Fourth of July commemorates. As an association, we understand the value in joining together and the good that comes from it. The message of the 2016 NATDA Trade Show & Convention encompasses just that.
We have been plenty busy this season preparing for our trade show, being held at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN on September 8-10, 2016. Things have been exciting around here as we have a 30 % increase in registered dealers this year, thanks to the number of early registrations. We are extremely happy with the number of registrations we have received for this incredible event.
Our emphasis for the trade show is on building relationships between manufacturers, vendors and dealers as well as educating those in the industry. We are excited to be offering FREE Dealer Education which includes a number of helpful seminars and workshops during the week of the trade show. We are very grateful for the speakers who have offered up their time and expertise, including our keynote speaker Bob Clements who is sure to deliver something fantastic. Bob Clements has been offering leading edge development packages which have helped to improve dealerships across America. We highly recommend attending the Dealer Education being offered on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 12:30pm to 5:30pm. See page 36 for an overview of each seminar being offered.
Another big announcement— technical training will be returning to Nashville and will be hosted by LINK Trailer Parts this year. The Exclusive Technical Training will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 8:30am to 10:30am. LINK Trailer Parts will be offering technical advice to dealers, something that you can“ take back to the shop”.
Lastly, we hope your Independence Day engagements inspire a desire to be more active in the NATDA community. We hope to see you all at our annual trade show where you will leave inspired, informed, and with the comfort of positivity!
