2020 NATDA Trailer Show’s Increased Safety Precautions To ensure the health and safety of all exhibitors and attendees, NATDA has issued a variety of increased safety precautions to take place at the 2020 NATDA Trailer Show. NATDA will continue to monitor the situation and update its membership on any potential implementations as the event grows nearer. However, NATDA can share the following updated sanitation procedures: Educational seminars will have increased space between individual attendees to allow for more personal space The registration area will allow for contactless self-check-in and pick-up of show materials Increased “social distancing” opportunities and safer, alternative catering options in all networking events to allow individuals to distance themselves at their discretion All exhibitors have been encouraged to create a “contact-free” approach to this year’s show, including using the 2020 NATDA Trailer Show mobile app in lieu of business cards, eliminating handshakes and bringing personal hand sanitizer Additionally, the Music City Center will be making the following precautionary measures onsite: Housekeeping has increased cleaning and disinfection across all high-volume touch-points throughout the building including restrooms, entrances/exits, escalators, etc. Food and Beverage has 18 ServSafe® Certified Professionals, not including management, which are all certified. Further, the convention center boasts 8 HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) certified culinarians. HACCP is an internationally recognized system for reducing the risk of safety hazards in food Increased hand sanitizer stations throughout the convention center that contain 70% isopropyl alcohol Education and awareness extended to all team members on standard personal preventative measures, using sanitizing/disinfection products, etc. For questions, please call NATDA at 727-360-0304. www.natda.org NATDA Magazine 13
